first_imgNew Delhi, Apr 20 (PTI) With the Centres decision on the Presidents rule under the scanner in Uttarakhand High Court, BJP today indicated that it will wait for the judgement before making any move in the state. “We have a majority in the state assembly, (but) we have not thought about it. May be after the court is done with the case,” party General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya told reporters. He was asked if the party will make a move for government formation. Vijayavargiya has been handling the partys affairs in the state during the recent political upheaval. What has brought about some urgency in the party over the states affairs is that the government will have to seek parliamentary ratification for the Presidents Rule in the session starting from next week. The Rajya Sabha, where the ruling NDA lacks numbers, will in all likelihood turn it down, a development that will embarrass the treasury benches. It can be averted only if there is a new government in place before the session ends on May 13. Asked about it, Vijayvargiya said there are still many days to go, suggesting that the party will weigh its options after the High Court, which is hearing the matter, passes its order.
